William Jessee
has served as president and chief executive officer of the Medical Group
Management Association (MGMA), the nation's leading voice for group medical
practice, since 1999. He also is clinical professor of Preventive Medicine and
Biometrics at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center; adjunct
professor of Health Policy and Administration at the University of North
Carolina School of Public Health; and vice chair of the Board of Directors of
Exempla Healthcare, a three-hospital system in Denver.
A graduate of Stanford University and the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine, he took residency training in pediatrics at Indiana University Hospitals and completed his training in preventive medicine at the University of Maryland Hospital.
