Ahmad Alomosh
Ahmad Falah Alomosh is an associate professor of sociology at the University of Sharjah, in the United Arab Emirates. His research interests include: Social Theory, Research Methods, Family, Social Structure, Crime Prevention and Security Studies (Community Policing, Violence, Terrorism).
In 2006, Dr. Alomosh wrote the book The Future of Terrorism in the 21st Century. He has published 37 articles including: Social Problems in the UAE Society, The Structural Characteristics of the Family in the UAE Society, Rural Urban Migration, The Marriage System in Jordan and Health, Economic and Political Characteristics in Southern Jordan.
In 1980, Alomosh received his bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Jordan. He received his master’s degree and Ph.D. in sociology from the New School for Social Research - New York in 1986 and 1990 respectively.
