A graduate of Harvard University, Eynat Shlien-Michael serves as counselor for Middle Eastern Affairs at the Embassy of Israel in Washington, D.C.
After joining the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1992 as a career diplomat, she was posted in various positions in the Israeli Ministry, dealing mainly with Israeli-Arab issues and American affairs.
Formerly, Shlien-Michael served at the consulate general of Israel to New England, and as second secretary for political affairs at the Embassy in Amman, Jordan.
