Kris Arvind

Kris Arvind joined CGN, a global business performance consulting firm, 10 years ago as a technical communicator with previous experiences in the Michigan Department of Transport and the Society for Technical Communication, Chicago Chapter. Over the last few years, Arvind has played a significant role in the development of CGN’s core consulting operations in the areas of human capital management and operations management practice. Over the years, Kris has been involved in diverse areas including organizational vision building, change management, value analysis, portfolio and program/project management, business simulation, and process improvement, while delivering millions of dollars of cost savings.

He is co-founder of the international humanitarian organization ekala.org, which works to help the poor and needy and to eradicate the suffering caused by natural disasters, such as the tsunami in India and Hurricane Katrina.
 
Arvind also is active in the local chapter of the American Red Cross and is a member of the Illinois Medical Emergency Response Team, a recipient of the 2005 President’s Call To Service Lifetime Achievement award from the President’s Council on Service & Civic Participation, and a recipient of the 2004 Central Illinois 40 Leaders Under Forty award.

Arvind has graduate degrees from Michigan Tech University-Houghton, Michigan, and Engineering Management from Queensland University of Technology-Brisbane, Australia.
