Repairing the United States' Global Image: Humanitarians Abroad

Students in particular are invited to attend this session, as volunteer and internship opportunities will be presented within the larger context of avenues U.S. citizens can pursue in an attempt to repair our country’s image in Asia, Africa and South America. Panel members will include those who have engaged in projects abroad as professionals or as students. Panelists will discuss the extent to which these efforts elevate how the U.S. is viewed globally. They also will provide information for students and others who wish to become involved in humanitarian projects overseas.
