Policy makers worldwide are facing new challenges with the explosive growth in trade in recent years. This panel will discuss changing conditions and strains that have arisen as a result. The move toward free trade and globalization was initiated in the western world. Yet there are many in the western world today who are questioning the benefits of free trade and globalization. Panelists will address the main consequences of the bourgeoning trade levels in a globalized economy. What does the future hold for globalization?
