Session Information

Global Peace Through Commerce

Bringing peace on earth is not, nor ever has been, the primary goal of commerce. Businesses build and maintain enterprises with a practical attitude of making things work and a goal of generating profits. While businesses cannot mitigate the essential profit focus, they can concurrently be good global citizens and fulfill societal roles and responsibilities. The possibilities of profit making can inspire collaboration between strangers, or even enemies. Making war is not as enticing as making money.
