Jaka Repansek
Jaka Repansek LL.B, MBA, is a citizen of Slovenia in the European Union, where he is the founder and CEO of RePublis Consulting, providing legal and business counsel to several Slovene and foreign companies. His work combines legal expertise from intellectual property law, media law, commercial law and EU related issues. His professional work constantly takes him to all parts of the world, including extensive aid for European companies in the US and American companies in the EU.
Besides his professional practice, Repansek lectures on media law and other topics at various seminars, including occasional lectures at the Faculty of Social Sciences in Ljubljana.
After graduating from Greenwood High School in Springfield, Missouri, in 1992, where he spent a year as an exchange student, Repansek graduated with cum laude degree from the Faculty of Law at the University of Ljubljana. He gained his graduate degrees from Cambridge University in England (Diploma in European Community Law) and completed MBA study at the University of Kansas.
Repansek’s membership in professional organizations includes being a founding member of the International Media Lawyers Association and a member of various legal and professional associations.
