Deborah Lowen

Dr. Deborah Lowen is an assistant professor of pediatrics at OU College of Medicine in Tulsa, where she performs medical evaluations on children suspected of being abused or neglected. She also serves as the medical director at the Children’s Justice Center in Tulsa, where she directs the fellowship program in Child Abuse Pediatrics, as well as the Pediatric Residency Program.

Lowen received her undergraduate degree from Duke University and her medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. After a residency in Pediatrics at The Children’s Hospital in Denver, Colorado, she completed a 2-year fellowship in Child Abuse and Neglect at Brown University School of Medicine/Hasbro Children’s Hospital.
