Terry Wollen
Dr. Terry Wollen is the director of animal well-being and a staff veterinarian with Heifer International, whose headquarters are in Little Rock, Arkansas. The agency provides training and extension services so families can improve animal housing, management, breeding, nutrition and veterinary health
Dr. Wollen’s background is in food-animal medicine and production. His experience includes two years in the Army Veterinary Corps, being a part of a team in a four-man dairy, beef and equine veterinary practice in Idaho and 20 years in research and development with the Bayer Corporation, Animal Health Division. Since then, he has worked in international development programs with the United Methodist Committee on Relief in Armenia for four years and with Heifer International in Asia for three years.
