Jude Wait

Jude Wait

Jude Wait is a management graduate student at Southern Oregon University. Serving community-based natural resources organizations across northern California and southern Oregon for 14 years, Wait co-led sustainable forest management, green product marketing, restoration workforce development and watershed repair projects. Her roles included executive, program and community economic development director for regional groups and board president of a national network. She is a founding member of the Forest Guild and is active with the Jefferson Fish Society, Regional Environmental Education Leaders and Rural Voices for Conservation Coalition.

Wait received a BA in Geology from University of California Berkeley in 1980 and participated in Watershed Management and Environmental Systems Geology graduate programs at Humboldt State University. She conducted research and applied watershed science on Tribal, private and public lands for 12 years. Over the past 5 years, she achieved training certificates in Leadership, Respecting Ethnic And Cultural Heritage, and Dynamic Facilitation. Her current free-lance projects include green business research, reporting and facilitating environmental education groups.
