Tom Reed is the program and operations manager for Honor the Earth, a national organization led by native environmental activist Winona LaDuke.
Honor the Earth works for environmental and energy justice in Native American communities. The organization focuses on creating a sustainable energy future by developing the renewable energy potential on native lands, bringing economic development and reversing the historical trend of exploiting native communities to obtain energy resources.
Before joining Honor the Earth, Reed worked for Clean Water Action Alliance of Minnesota as a field-canvass manager. He received his B.A. from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesotta, in Organizational Communication and Spanish. His hobbies include the performing arts, biking and exploring the outdoors.
