Linda Wagner is senior vice president of strategic marketing and business development at Citi Credit Cards, where she is responsible for strategic marketing of $1billion in cross-sell business.
During her tenure, Wagner has identified a new segment of card customers with key interest in protection oriented benefits and services. As a result, Citi Cards introduced a protection themed brand platform that integrates multiple programs and services, both free and fee based, into a cohesive and interactive messaging campaign.
Wagner’s group expanded trigger marketing functionality for identity protection and fraud by introducing telemarketing and email campaigns that are expected to drive an incremental $10 million in annual marketing revenue.
Within Citi Cards, Wagner proposed a multi-faceted prepaid debit card solution (gift, travel, reloadable) that provides a socially inclusive payment opportunity for unbanked and credit decline populations. Distribution is currently in test stages at a major retail partner and is in consideration as part of a multi-faceted payment solution with major U.S. transit authorities.
