Weiyu “Wendy” Guo is the Nebraska Bankers Association Professor at the University of Nebraska, Omaha. She holds a courtesy appointment at Zhongshan University in China as the director of the Center for Financial Analyst Development.

Guo primarily teaches commercial bank management and investment principles and practice. Her research interests include corporate governance, option pricing, market volatilities and investment risk management.

She holds an MBA from Missouri State University and a Ph.D. in finance from the University of Missouri, Columbia. She has been actively involved in the Omaha community and has served as a member of Omaha Fire and Police Pension Task Force.
