U.S. Citizenship Naturalization Ceremony

10:00 AM - 11:00 AM,  Plaster Student Union (PSU) Theater

Witness as those in the Western District of Missouri take their Oath of Allegiance and thereby complete the process of becoming a U.S. citizen.  There will be a variety of speakers along with MSU's Beartones performing the National Anthem.    

Seating in the PSU Theater will be first come first serve.  Overflow seating with remote viewing will be available in PSU's Ballroom East.

Applicant Information

Click here for parking Information for citizen applicants and their family and guests.  Applicants and their guests must park in MSU parking lots 51 and 52 at the corner of Kimbrough St. and Walnut St. in Springfield, MO. Designated shuttles for applicants and their guests will deliver you from the parking lot to the front entrance of the Plaster Student Union.  Shuttles will run continuously from parking lots to PSU from 7:30am - 1:00pm.    

The actual ceremony will be located the Plaster Student Union (PSU) Theater on the 2nd floor as you enter the building.  A section of the Theater will be reserved for applicant families/guests.  

Applicant check-in will be in room 308 of the Plaster Student Union.  

The applicant guest Hospitality/waiting room is in PSU Ballroom West on the 3rd floor.  Coffee and danish will be available.   The reception for new citizens and guests will be in PSU Ballroom West immediately following the ceremony.
