Face to face in a technological age
Cyber-bullying, hacking of private photos and Internet trolling are all developments of the technological age. These days, it seems people “talk” using a keyboard more than they actually use their voice. What do we lose when communication goes digital? Has technology created ethical issues or solved them? Is it appropriate to monitor technological communications, or is that, in and of itself, an ethical dilemma? How is privacy defined in this age of the Internet? How have ethical standards adapted to our interactions that are increasingly conducted in cyberspace?
