Author and storyteller
Missy Shelton Belote is an award-winning writer and storyteller. She’s best known in the Ozarks for the years she spent covering state government for KSMU, the Ozarks’ public radio station, and Missouri’s public television stations. Now living in Tennessee, she splits her time between marketing communications projects for a Fortune 350 company and writing fiction. Her short story set in southeast Missouri will appear in a forthcoming anthology from Curiosity Quills Press. She’s traveled all over the world for work and pleasure. She and her husband adopted their oldest son from Vietnam, their daughter from Ethiopia, and their youngest son from China.
