Embodying Difference: Inertia Dance Company and Public Affairs

In this combination of lecture and performance, Inertia Dance Company will present their work from the 2016-2017 academic year. This includes research into embodying and physically empathizing perspectives different from their own as well as working with local school children through the Any Given Child project. Company members, all Missouri State University dance majors, will discuss their experiences and what they learned from their Public Affairs work throughout the semester as well as demonstrate the choreography they have co-created from their research.
