Habitat for Humanity, Springfield, Missouri
Larry Peterson joined Habitat for Humanity in Springfield, Missouri, as executive director in 2012. He is a seasoned marketing and operations executive with more than 30 years of management experience, primarily in telecommunications. He spent 27 years with Time Warner Cable as division vice president of marketing in Savannah, Lincoln and Kansas City, and three years as regional vice president of operations for Mediacom in Springfield.
Along with his work at Habitat for Humanity, Peterson is the current chairman of Community Partnership of the Ozarks’ Housing Collaborative, active in the city’s Prosper Springfield and an advocate at Habitat International’s annual “Habitat on the Hill” effort. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.
