10:30 - 11:45 a.m., Wednesday, September 26, 2018
PSU 313

Healthy communities are possible only if basic needs, such as clean water, clean air and fresh food are readily available, in addition to opportunities for economic and personal growth, and positive human interactions. Given ever-increasing urban populations, how do communities see that these needs are provided to all individuals? What innovative approaches or changes in public policy are envisioned for the next five years? How do communities foster an appreciation of nature and participation in outdoor activities at all age levels? What current activities are most effective in promoting unity within local communities, subdivisions and neighborhoods?
