St. Philip's School and Community Center
Terry Flowers is a lifelong educator and the Perot Family headmaster at St. Philips School and Community Center in Dallas, Texas. His leadership led to the establishment of a curriculum for St. Philips that emphasizes academic excellence, a positive self-image and a faith-based focus for life. Alongside the strong academic program is a wealth of social services programs and community development activities.
Flowers has three masters' degrees, which attest to his commitment to education. He earned his doctorate in education at Columbia University in 1995. He was honored with the prestigious 2016 J. Erik Jonsson Ethics Award for his inspirational leadership in the Dallas educational community. He currently serves on the boards of the Episcopal School of Dallas, the Teaching Trust and the Alcuin School.
