Randall Becker

Randall Becker is the chief of interpretation, education and visitor services at George Washington Carver National Monument in Diamond, Missouri. He works to connect people to parks by creating cultural, natural and recreational programming opportunities through partnerships.

Becker has worked as a park ranger at five national parks and as a field instructor at three universities. He has been with the National Park Service (NPS) for 17 years and is a recent graduate of the NPS GOAL Academy. As a field instructor, he led backpacking, paddling, caving, climbing and camping trips to public lands around the country.

Becker has a master's degree in recreation, park and tourism administration from Western Illinois University and a bachelor's degree in applied geography from Northern Illinois University.
