Pre-Conference Event: Forgotten Children of Eden
On any given night, 250 people in Greene County lack a roof over their heads, reports the Springfield News-Leader. Homelessness is a real and often overlooked issue, both nationally and in the Springfield community. How can we better serve our homeless neighbors? What are some of the root causes of homelessness? How can lasting solutions be created? This panel will shine a spotlight on the stories of members of the local community, and on organizations that help them.
