Mythology in modern America: Stereotypes and minority groups
Many popular modern myths in America center around perceptions of minority groups. From front porches to the highest offices in the land, negative stereotypes tarnish relationships within communities and have resulted in misguided fears against our neighbors. What do these dis-unifying stories say about the nation we have built, and how can we begin to change the story?
