International Touring Poet and Performance Artist
Host, Spoken Word Artist, Sexual Health Advocate
Ebony Stewart is an international touring poet and performance artist. Her work speaks to the black experience, with emphasis on gender, sexuality, womanhood and race, with the hopes to be relatable, remove shame, heal minds, encourage dialogue and inspire folks in marginalized communities.
Stewart uses poetry, performance, real-life and experiences from teaching in the classroom as resources to address sexual health, body image and self-esteem. Her mission is to improve, support and protect the lives of women, people of color and the LGBTQ+ community by creating a healing space, through workshops and discussion, where we know our worth, acknowledge our struggles and celebrate our victories.
She's a noted host, spoken word artist, sexual health advocate and NACA showcasing artist with Bass-Schuler Entertainment, as well as a master of social work graduate student.
