David Ferrell was most recently an enterprise architect at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. In this role, he partnered with business leaders to manage an IT portfolio of applications to help achieve their strategic goals. These tools helped merchants make decisions on the assortment of products that go into each store and club, and keep those products in stock by forecasting demand and placing orders with suppliers.
These tools facilitated collaboration up the supply chain in providing sales and inventory data, and forecasts to suppliers. Ferrell completed his enterprise architecture certification from Carnegie Melon University. He earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in computer information systems from Missouri State University.
