Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, Charleen moved to Springfield to attend Missouri State University. Her love and passion for food and healthy eating led her to pursue and complete a degree in dietetics in 1996. Having worked for CoxHealth for nearly 30 years, she is currently the Food Service Manager. Charleen continues to give back to students at Missouri State in various ways, including volunteering with the Black Alumni Council.
