Alison Roffers, (Ed.D.) is Director of Counseling Services for the K-12 Springfield Public School district.  She has been an educator for 16 years, serving as a third-grade teacher at Greenwood Laboratory School, an elementary school counselor at both Disney and Sequiota, a middle school counselor at Cherokee Middle School, and a school counselor leader for SPS as coordinator of counseling services over the past four years.

She completed her undergraduate and graduate work at Missouri State University and doctoral coursework in educational leadership from Southwest Baptist University.

Alison is the mother to three beautiful children. Her middle child, Lane, has FOXG1 Syndrome which has affected his brain development. Lane has significant motor and cognitive needs, multiple secondary diagnoses, and the most infectious smile you’ve ever seen.
