Ben O’Keefe is an activist, storyteller, and social entrepreneur who has dedicated his life to helping people recognize and wield their own power while cultivating collective power in their communities. From igniting a national body-positivity movement as a teenager to advising U.S. presidential campaigns in his twenties, Ben’s journey shows that no one is too young or too ordinary to change the world.
Named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list for Hollywood & Entertainment, Ben is also the creator of the Flip the Script Short Film Fund—a groundbreaking initiative that has produced multiple award-winning films, including BIENVENIDOS A LOS ANGELES, which he produced and was shortlisted for the 2023 Academy Awards. He is the CEO of Chaotic Good Labs, a media company for social good, and co-host of the hit iHeart podcast HIGHKEY!, a pop culture and politics show with Ryan Mitchell and RuPaul’s Drag Race's Yvie Oddly.
Ben was also the writer and a guest co-host of MTV Decoded, the pioneering digital series that used humor and storytelling to break down issues of race, identity, and inequality for a new generation. His work spans digital movements, documentary filmmaking, public policy, and creative campaigns for figures like Elizabeth Warren, Alicia Keys, and Stacey Abrams. He appears in the Netflix documentary White Hot: The Rise & Fall of Abercrombie & Fitch, which chronicles his viral teen campaign against exclusionary practices at the brand—a defining moment in the rise of body positivity and corporate accountability.
