Dr. Karen I. Hall is an Assistant Professor of Educational Leadership at Saint Louis University, where she teaches and advises doctoral students on equity-centered practices in schools and organizations. She holds an Ed.D. in Education focusing on Educational Equity and Social Justice from Webster University. She has over 25 years of experience in various educational leadership roles, including superintendent, principal, and teacher.

She is also the CEO and founder of RISE Coaching and Consulting, a company that provides equity-focused leadership coaching and consulting services to educators, leaders, and organizations. She created the Equity-Focused Design Framework (EFD), which helps aspiring and current leaders apply equity principles and strategies. As a bestselling author and sought-after speaker, she has delivered numerous public presentations, workshops, and conferences on educational equity, diversity, and inclusion topics. She is passionate about empowering and transforming leaders and communities through her vision, expertise, and advocacy.
