Ways to Register to Vote
Getting Registered is the first step
If you have come to Missouri State from somewhere else in the state (or in the country), you can register to vote here in Springfield - Greene County as a student.
As long as you have a current Missouri Diver’s or Non-Driver’s license (or Driver’s Permit), or a federal ID (passport or military ID), you can register to vote wherever you currently live in the U.S. Residence halls are valid addresses to use, as long as you’re careful to list the street address and your room number, not the residence hall name.

Register to Vote Using a Paper Registration Card
Complete a new Missouri voter registration card, name or address change at the following Missouri State University, Springfield campus locations:

Online Voter Registration
Missouri Secretary of State Office – You can check your voter registration on this same website. You may complete your voter registration form online, but must have the ability to sign your name via a writable tablet, phone or other touchscreen device. When registering to vote online, check option for “using a tablet, phone, or other mobile device.”
When you actually go to vote in Missouri, be prepared to take a current Missouri Diver’s or Non-Driver’s license (or Driver’s Permit), or a federal ID (passport or military ID) due to new laws.
Register to vote in another state
To register to vote in another state, an easy resource to utilize is U.S. Vote Foundation. If you cannot vote where you are registered, absentee voting is always an option.
