Krishna Bista is an international doctoral student in Educational Leadership/Higher Education at Arkansas State University. He is also the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Journal of International Students, an interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed publication on international student studies. This journal is a collaborative research project in which more than 75 scholars (doctoral students and faculty members across the globe) serve on different positions of the journal to disseminate the quality of articles.
In the past three years, Bista’s research has focused on the college student experience related to classroom engagement, cross-cultural experiences, student-faculty relationships, student mobility, use of technology and social media and faculty/student international experiences.
His research has been published in the Educational Forum, College Teaching, International Journal of Research and Review, To Improve the Academy and the Journal of Multidisciplinary Evaluation. Bista also serves on the editorial/review boards of the American Educational Research Association, the Professional Organization and Development, Learning and Performance Quarterly, and Current Issues in Education.
Born and raised in Bhojpur, Nepal, Bista received an MA from Tribhuvan University, an MS from Troy University and an EdS from Arkansas State University.
