Dennis Reigle is the special projects business advisor for the American Institute of CPAs. He enjoyed a lengthy and decorated career in higher education, government and philanthropic foundations. In 2001, Reigle retired from Arthur Andersen LLP, where he was managing partner of partner matters and human resources-North America. Reiglewas also responsible for recruiting and university relations, served as trustee and secretary of the Arthur Andersen Foundation and chaired the Investment Committee for pension and profit sharing plans.
He has served in leadership positions on numerous committees and boards for both accounting organizations and educational institutions, including the American Accounting Association, the Federation of Schools of Accountancy, the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business and the American Institute of CPAs.
Reigle has served as president and national advisory forum member for Beta Alpha Psi. He is an honorary member of the National Council of INROADS, Inc., and the chairman of the Board of Directors for the PhD Project.
Reiglewas inducted into the National Association of Colleges & Employers’ Academy of NACE Fellows and was awarded the Federation of Schools of Accountancy Practitioner Service Award, recognizing his efforts on the behalf of post-baccalaureate accounting education.
Reiglehas a BA in liberal arts from the University of Cincinnati, and an MBA from the Harvard Graduate School of Business.
