Urban Roots Farm
Katie White is a farmer at Urban Roots farm in downtown Springfield, Missouri. She began working with Urban Roots in April of 2021 as an apprentice farmer then transitioned to a full time farmer position in May of 2022. Through her time with Urban Roots, Katie has gained an understanding of organic and regenerative agriculture practices, the impact of our food systems on the land and our communities, and has also partnered with farmers and agriculture workers in the Springfield farming community.
