The future of our planet: What can you do to promote sustainability?

10:30 - 11:45 a.m., Wednesday, April 15, 2015
PSU 313

Sustainability is based on a simple principle that everything that we need for our survival and well-being depends, either directly or indirectly, on our natural environment. Sustainability creates and maintains the conditions under which humans and nature can exist in productive harmony, ensuring that we have, and will continue to have, the water, materials and resources to protect human health and our environment. As the human population continues to grow, what changes may be made by each individual to ensure that our planet will provide a better quality of life for our children and all living creatures?
