Ethical environmental leadership in America

Recently, several man-made environmental disasters have received global media attention and scrutiny that have brought to light questions of the weight of responsibility to manage these crises. While it is each individual’s responsibility to be mindful of the air, land and water around us, how do large corporations and government entities factor in the role of ethics and the environment? What role should citizens play in requiring ethical environmental behaviors from large corporations, and how do they interpret that role? What does ethical environmental leadership look like in the 21st century?
