System director for food services, CoxHealth
Jason began his formal education at Missouri State University in Springfield where he earned a bachelor’s degree in dietetics. His first job as a dietitian was at CoxHealth Hospital as a Clinical Dietitian. He joined the management team in the Food and Nutrition Services department as the assistant director of food services. He earned his master's degree in health administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Jason subsequently moved into a management position in the Corporate and Employee Wellness department at CoxHealth until being promoted the System Director of Food and Nutrition Services.
Jason is an avid runner and cyclist and has completed over thirty marathons. He has presented over 100 times on sports nutrition and worked with numerous athletes on nutrition plans to help them improve their performance. Jason lives in Springfield, MO, has a wife of 18 years and they have a 14 year old son.
