STEVEN D. EDWARDS is the President and CEO of CoxHealth, a healthcare system that has been recognized as a Top 100 Integrated healthcare system seven years in a row and has been recognized by US News and World Report, Healthgrades and CareChex as the best hospital in Southwest Missouri. Edwards has served in a number of roles over 20 years at CoxHealth, including, executive vice-president/COO, vice-president of clinical services, senior vice-president for regional services, and senior vice-president for hospital services.
He is currently a board of directors member for: the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks, Voluntary Hospitals of America, Missouri Hospital Association, Mid-America Service Solutions, Springfield Greene County Health Commission, Drury University and Burrell Center. He received his undergraduate degree from Drury University, a master's in healthcare administration from Washington University School of Medicine and completed a post-graduate fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, TX.
