10:30 - 11:45 a.m., Friday, April 8, 2016
PSU 313

The Affordable Care Act (ACA) brings a new reality to the medical profession. How is the ACA supposed to work for the medical field? How are doctors and medical personnel expected to manage care of patients under the ACA? To what extent does the new law restrict or enhance medical professionals in doing their job? Some doctors do not support or want the ACA and have left the practice, retired or discouraged others from going into the profession. How will the ACA affect the medical profession in the short- and long-term?
