Steve Fowler serves as director of Mission Services with Mercy Health in the St. Louis region. With a background in theology, education, ministry, communication and healthcare leadership, he shapes organizational culture by translating the doctrine and practice of Catholic Christianity for a diverse team of healthcare providers called to serve one mission.
From board rooms to bedside care, faith plays a significant role in framing organizational structures, the allocation of resources and how we serve one another. Twice a graduate of Missouri State University (BA, 1999; MHA, 2015), Fowler is excited to return to MSU to discuss the advantages and challenges a faith foundation has on employers, public institutions and communities.
