Roddy Rogers is a registered professional engineer, a Leadership Springfield alumni and was selected as one of 300 Alumni of Influence from the University of Missouri – Rolla. He is manager of water resources projects for City Utilities of Springfield. He managed parts or all of Springfield’s drinking water system for more than 20 years; has participated in volunteer engineering/water projects in several third world countries and has published and/or presented over 25 technical papers.

Rogers is past president of the Tri State Water Resource Coalition, seeking to establish the next water source for the region, and has been inducted as a Diplomate in the American Academy of Water Resource Engineers. He was a governor appointee to the Missouri Dam and Reservoir Safety Council and has received a national award from the American Society of Civil Engineers for service to the global community. 

Rogers earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, a master’s degree in geotechnical engineering, and a second master’s in engineering management from the Missouri Institute of Science and Technology.
