Ecologist
Craig Young is an ecologist, specializing in land management in parks and natural areas. He has worked for The Nature Conservancy, the Virginia Natural Heritage Program and the National Park Service. In these positions, Young focused on conservation planning, long-term ecological monitoring, invasive plant control, prescribed burning and rare plant protection.
He studied at Centre College in Danville, Kentucky, and State University of New York - College of Environmental Science and Forestry in Syracuse, New York, where he received a BS and MS in biology, respectively.
