What is the good life?
What is the good life? Philosophers from Aristotle to Kant have wrestled with this question. "The Good Life" has been the title of movies and TV programs. Authors write about it. Singers from Tony Bennett to Kanye West sing about it. What does it mean to live the “good life" in 2018? Is it ever more elusive? How can the “good life” guide our everyday interactions and shape public policy? How can “good life” efforts make a difference in our local communities and our world? How can we help others live the good life, or can we?
