RAJ Tours
Wolde Kristos is the owner of Reliable Adventures Jamaica, or RAJ Tours, based in Bluefields, Jamaica. RAJ Tours is a geo-eco and bookings community tourism entity that provides birding, hiking, historical and ecological tours to visitors from Jamaica and around the world.
Kristos currently spearheads the Bluefields Sustainable Development Program that aims to promote long-term sustainable development of the communities that lie on the Bluefields Bay region of southwest Jamaica.
Coming from humble beginnings, Kristos has conquered many socio-economic challenges such as being denied an education. It left him unable to read and write properly until the age of 25. He quickly overcame his obstacles and educated himself through Bluefields People’s Community Association, a coalition that provides a range of community development services to people in the Bluefields community.
