Barbara Wachtel-Nash is a clinical psychologist in practice and administration at Jordan Valley Community Health Center in Springfield, Missouri. At Jordan Valley Community Health Center, Nash is the director of behavioral health integration and is responsible for integrating all behavioral health services into the primary care of patients. She oversees program development and service offerings that are embedded throughout the organization’s model of care. Nash sat on the Missouri governor’s panel at the Missouri Opioid Summit, battling the opioid epidemic.
Nash received her doctorate in psychology at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in Chicago, IL. She has been at the forefront of integrating behavioral health into the medical practice and patient care.
