Core 21 Educational Experiences
Joan Della Valle is vice president and senior consultant of Core 21 Educational Services. She is also an adjunct professor at the State University of New York at Buffalo, providing staff development and graduate courses for educators around the world in the International Graduate Program for Educators.
Her career has included multiple experiences in public education: a New York City classroom teacher for 13 years, as well as curriculum director where she supervised teachers in 28 schools across multiple curriculum areas. She spent the next 20 years as an elementary principal in a suburban district on Long Island, New York.
Della Valle has authored several books, including "Synergy and Synthesis for Teaching in the 21st Century: A Model for Moving into Inquiry and Problem Based Learning Without Stress."
