Just google it: Knowledge and learning in the information age
In today’s world, more information is stored digitally than by analog means. How has this incredible digital access to information changed how we learn and think about knowledge? Institutions of higher education used to be places where citizens went to seek knowledge. Now, students can google to find the best and brightest minds giving TED Talks on almost any topic. How has this reality changed the mission of colleges and universities around the globe? How well are they adapting to this change? What future challenges and opportunities might technological innovation bring to higher education and learning?
