The workplace of the future
Technological change has occurred throughout history. These changes have increased worker productivity and stimulated economic growth, but often at the cost of displacing workers. Recently, the rate of technological change has increased dramatically, offering the possibility of a shorter work week and earlier retirement in our future. Does this pose a threat to the concept of work entirely? What will the workplace of the future look like after the digital industrial revolution?
