Richard Fordyce is the Business Growth Director of Agriculture at OBP-Osborn Barr Paramore, a women-owned independent full-service marketing firm. Prior to OBP, Richard served as the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Farm Service Agency (FSA) administrator from 2018 to 2021. In that role, he provided leadership for FSA and its national mission to support agricultural production through disaster assistance, farm loans, safety nets, and conservation programs. As a fourth-generation soybean, corn and beef cattle farmer from Missouri, Richard has extensive experience in agriculture leadership roles at the state, regional and national levels including Missouri Director of Agriculture.
He has also been affiliated with the National Biodiesel Board, Agricultural Leaders of Tomorrow and the Missouri Soybean Merchandizing Council and the national United Soybean Board. In 2012, Richard was named the Soil Conservationist of the Year award by the Conservation Federation of Missouri.
