The Rebound Foundation
As the Founder and Director of The Rebound Foundation, Christina Ford has played a crucial role in launching three transitional housing facilities in Springfield, MO, aimed at supporting women who have experienced domestic violence. She has also facilitated the development of affordable housing options for all victims of abuse. Christina has taken the initiative in her community to promote youth violence prevention education, aligning her efforts with her overarching mission to disrupt the cycle of abuse.
In 2019, Christina recognized a pressing need for flexible childcare services within her community. This insight led to the establishment of Kids Inn Childcare Center, LLC, where she serves as the Owner. She has committed herself to nurturing this venture while also advancing her education, culminating in a master's degree in early childhood and family development from Missouri State University, which she received in Spring 2023.
Over the years, Christina has presented at numerous conferences, organizations, and universities, fueled by her commitment to share her vision and motivate others. Renowned for her enthusiasm and her ability to resonate with audiences through her personal narrative, she realized she had an impactful message focused on empowering others to thrive rather than merely survive. With the support of her coach, she has embraced the role of a motivational speaker, adding this new facet to her professional journey.
Her noteworthy contributions have been acknowledged through various honors, including being named an honoree in SBJ’s 2019 20 Most Influential Women Award and recognized in SBJ’s 2023 40 Under 40 list. Furthermore, her keen sense of style earned her a feature in 417 Magazine’s Best Dressed of 2020.
Christina is married to Dana Ford and is the devoted mother of Cameron, Carson, Charlie Rose, Crain, Cline, and Courtney, as well as a daughter in heaven named Promise.
